Melissa Harrison
DIRECTOR | CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST

My approach is grounded in genuineness and authenticity, weaving humour and empathy into our interactions to truly understand and connect with you.

My extensive experience includes working across non-government organisations, community settings, schools, universities and private practice with individuals of all ages.

I am particularly interested in working with adolescents and adults who might present with:

  • Perfectionism

  • People-pleasing

  • Low self-esteem

  • Difficulties regulating emotions

  • Adjustment and life transitions

  • Relationship difficulties

  • Seeking clarification around life decisions

  • Clarifying employment/University direction

  • Neurodivergence: ADHD, Autism

  • Mood issues (e.g., anxiety or depression)

Regardless of the nature or complexity of your concern, I engage in a collaborative approach, value feedback about what seems to be working well or not for you, striving to foster clarity, empowerment, and restore balance to your life.

But let's shift the focus onto you. You may be here because you're eager to embark on a journey of personal growth and discovery, perhaps you're seeking to process experiences, enhance your coping strategies and stress management techniques, or require a non-judgemental environment for emotional support and gaining new perspective. I'm here to support you every step of the way, whether it's realising your aspirations or elevating your mental health to new heights.

Let's work together to make it happen.
